get a sneak peek of the world’s first Hybrid Tug while it is still in
construction at its Rainier, Oregon shipyard.

- Foss’ first Hybrid Tug combines batteries, generators and main engines to reduce air pollution and offer greater fuel economy.
- The technology used is flexible and can be used to convert other standard tugs.
- The Hybrid Tug design was awarded the EPA’s Clean Air Excellence Award for Clean Air Technology earlier this year.
