How she holding up? Is she taking on anymore water?
The Connie is holding up well and no problems have been noticed by the Corbin crew.
We appreciate the updates. Still trying to determine the ETA in Brownsville to make arrangements to be on the jetties to welcome her in. Is it still sometime in December – early part – late part or now January?
Once they get around tip of South America, and are on the way to Uruguay we will have a better idea of what their ETA will be. At this time, I would only be guessing, but I would say the end of December may not be too far off.
I am hoping for a few days after Christmas. Family commitments would keep quite a few people from seeing her come in if it is right at Christmas. Keeping my fingers crossed. The Connie Association is trying to coordinate hotel rooms and geting. the word out when she will arrive. Lot’s of old salts really want to see her one last time. Thanks for the blog. One guy posts info on a Facebook page daily so people can follow her. Also want to thank you for the respect you are paying her. Linda
