Foss Maritime Unveils New Web Site
Marine transportation company underscores its customer focus with easy-to-navigate site and updated corporate identity
SEATTLE, November 2, 2006 – Foss Maritime Company, a Seattle-based marine services company specializing in worldwide marine transportation and logistics, today announced that it is launching an updated web site at www.foss.com. The web site will feature a new logo—the first new Foss logo in over twenty years.
Foss has announced a number of new developments over the past year, most recently announcing Gary C. Faber as its new President & COO. Other developments included expansion into the US East Coast with the acquisition of Constellation Tug Company; improved range of services to include marine logistics and full-service naval architecture with the acquisition of Harbor Marine Group; and an enhanced focus on safety and the environment with the hire of its first Vice President of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment.
“The new web site and branding is really a reflection of the changes that are happening at Foss. They are part of a larger effort to get better at telling the Foss story; not just our history, but where we are going and how we are expanding and improving our service,” said Faber.
The new site offers customers a more comprehensive view of the complete range of Foss services—from assisting a single vessel into its berth in a harbor close to home, to managing the air-water-land logistics of a complex international project, to building new leading-edge vessels at its shipyard.
The web site development and company branding and logo design work was completed by Seattle-based marketing consulting firm, Aukema & Associates.
