The Project:
Transported a jacket, piles and wellhead structure from the United States Gulf of Mexico, to Equatorial Guinea in West Africa, in support of Noble Energy’s Alen Development Project. Upon delivery Heerema Marine Contractors installed the jacket and structures using their deep-water installation vessel the DCV Balder.

Highlights:
- The Corbin Foss towed a 400′ x 105′ x 20′ barge laden with the jacket, piles and wellhead
- The four leg jacket weighed 1,500 tons, the four piles 650 tons and the wellhead structure 75 tons – with a total weight of 2,225 tons
- Sailed over 10,000 nautical miles
