I served aboard the CV 63 as an engine man. Just wondering if you guys were using the Connie’s emergency diesel engines? Thank You for your time and have a continuing safe voyage.

No, she is not under power.
Hi, I served aboard CONNIE from 1969 – 1971 in the Captain’s Office, X Division. Can you tell me what yard will be doing the salvaging and if you have an email address for them? I am interested in getting any memorabilia from her. (I have contacted ESCO but they are not the breaker yard for CONNIE.)
Southern Recycling. Do not have an email address for them.
12-3-14 10:05 PM PST Saw your ship on line map on Marine Traffic off of Sao Mateus. Have been watching your progress since you left WA. God bless you. M. Browning, Keyport, WA.
I was stationed on the Connie for three years (76-79). Sure would be nice to see her when she pulls in to port. Could you post some additional pictures?
