USS CONSTELLATION ARRIVES LONG BEACH – ANCHORAGE F-15

The vessel has arrived Long Beach anchorage F-15 at 12:30 this afternoon; Presently three Foss Tugs are standing by her. The Corbin Foss is all fast at the fuel dock.

I had the privilege of greeting Connie as she arrived and gave her a final salute. An incredible experience.
I unfortunately missed it. I was going to see it today as I had thought it would be there for 24 hrs. Sadly I didn’t see the update that showed them planning to leave at 2000 that same day :(. When I got out there, she was nowhere to be found and I learned that the ship was 52 miles south. Near SD. A day late and a dollar short. I hope someone posts pics of her in LB or near SD. I wish all the Foss tugs a safe trip. Especially when they go around the tip of South America. Rough waters there.
