How far off the coast will you be towing the Connie
Waiting for my vessel operations department to revert with this info. Will update the blog when received.
As of 1:47pm PDT, Corbin Foss wth USS Constellation in tow is abeam Lincoln City, OR.
How far off the coast are you staying?
Waiting for our vessel operations department to convey this information and will update the blog when received.
I noticed a couple of men on board “connie” when she was being towed away from Bremerton. Are they still on board, if so to what purpose and how are they living?
Thanks!
The men were on board to assist in the rigging of the tow gear and were taken off by launch prior to final departure. No one is on board the “Connie”.
What are the chances to bring the ship just off of Coronado Island so all her Homeport Shipmates can render honors? Just outside the breakwater?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to come close to the breakwater at Coronado Island.
